I voluntarily confessed to my twin and she took the news better then i had expected. I just hope she doesn't go off on one like" nayaa at least am not a dyke" if i ever happen to piss her off. lool kidding. she's trustworthy and thank god for that.

How much can one sacrifice to be who they really are? There is nothing I would do, to cause any heartache and humiliation to those who I love, and care about tremendously. If it means never to love, or be happy –then so be it. I can't even imagine loosing my family, over my sexuality! Oh God!

Fortunately, I never dealt with the family about my preference. It's easier to hide things, when you're in the vicinity of their standards of “normality” … (dating man, and looking girlie etc!)

Family??!!!i think my family knows but they r not sayin anythin...
they sometimes asked me to bring dinner my boyfriend and im like ok..(ps i once asked my good friend guy to come home and pretend to b my boyfriend)it worked and then i told them i broke up with him!!!
they r very much open minded and i believe if 1 day i decide to tell them that im a dyke they wouldnt do anythin..they will b like cool..if thats wat u want,its ur life!!!we will love u regards wat!!!
i would say im lucky to have a family like that, but i dont think i ready to tell them yet and i know deep down really they want me to have a family and a husband in later years..

the only person that really stops me from keep it its my dear lovely grandmother...i really dont know how she will take it and really would risk my own life for her and not only the love of my life..
for her i will marry any guy she chooses for me and know she will b so hurt to know im a dyke,...so i wll b quite it for the rest of my life..

So in life its not always bout wat makes me happy or who i am..coz things u do have consequences not only to u but alot of people..

Young, it was very moving reading your post, do not know what you are going through, all i can say is that most of us prefer to keep quiet and deal with out own issues.


you are definately right, you must be the most patient person, because you have waited that long, and InshaAllah i really hope your family do finally come around and open dialogue with you.
