You are right kamal. Ricky's sexuality was never a secret among the gay people. Every queer out there who googled his name saw some compromising photos of him on a beach. It was nice if he came out when he was still hot.

But we need some Somali politicians or warlords, or sheikhs coming out of the dark complete with diric, googarad, shalmad, and decorated with xinne.

We need such role models and it is good that at last he came out to the public. Many public figures whether they are sportmen, politians or otherwise still belief that coming out will damage their career which is a genuine fear considering the popular imagination of the society.
Homosexuality needs to be promoted and so placed in equal footing with homosexuality and how that is handled it is upto each one of us.
As for the sheiks with diric iyo googarad. Probably they are out there but to get them in public arena with their mashaxarad that is another matter which needs our patience.lol
