Our website has been up and running for more than halve a year. We have launched a site that nothing like it was ever there for the Somali Community. From the first day we launched we had media coverage from around the world. We have done it and we felt proud. After more than halve a year, we got strong dedicated members who entertain us and share their ideas. The SGC team would like to improve the service of the site and add new features. We will appreciate enormously any support such as ideas, inspiration and how the website should serve us. Things we have in mind are to make the site more interactive and fun such as being able to listen to music (Somali/Western), BBC news, quizzes and competitions (such as best short story of the month/year, poems, photos and etc), better chat rooms, and dating section. Please advise us on how to make this promising. We trust our instinct to believe you will be of immense support and inspirational. Let’s work together to serve us.

hi horseed and all other admins thankz very much for ur effort , second i jus wanna add to the profiles if u can add privacy feature so that we can have a full profile same like other sites , that will be very good and plz these is only my advice since u site layout and the _style_ isnt that good so plz try to change the colour specail orange , plz thats js an advice , thankz again for ur full effort . muahhhhhhh have a nice day

ya i second with king kamal private profiles you know,like facebook/down_link_ type of thing.where you add sumbody and only if dey accept dey can view your profile.So like uploading pictures,videos wtv u kno.
And have more entertaining chat room.Cuz like i've never seen anybody in da chat room..ever.lol
da layout of the website also(Like there's no rainbow? where is the rainbow!!!! loool )
and our main page is not captivating.u wanna grab pplz attention when they come to the site.So maybe make da front page could b more colorfull,put up like people's coming out storie's in the main page.Few sexy pictures of Nina ha ha no but like pictures of celebrities who are suspected to b gay or lesb u kno.Like who doesnt enjoy gossip? especially about celebrities? this is 2009.You gotta give the people wut dey want! lool
Like it's cool to have news paper articles,but dat doesnt grab pplz attention right away.and who reads news paper now a days? unless it would b about beyonce being gay,i would read!!!! And so would others.(LOOL im jk reading news paper is cool and educational*sarcastic*)
The forum part of the site is well put togueter and easy to accomodate urself to.hmmm wut else can i say...
well if i come up with other stuff i'll be sure to write them down.
Oh ya and also we should b more out there you know like maybe be on top of search engines such as google or yahoo or wtv.Like if i type in google "gay and lesbians" we should b the choices of sites they can visit.Only wen people get really precise with the search "gay somalis" for exemple,well only then can they find our site.Wich i think doesnt give our site much exposure.
And we should attract other ethnicitie's such as ethiopians,erythreans and i'm not only sayin this cuz dey are damn fine...loool
but we need to b a bigger community...cover perhaps da whole east african region.

We will never see your feed back as bad thing and we appreciative to have it. We are aware of the shortcomings of this site and it is one we are determined to bring some changes into it. We want this site to be attractive and resourceful without losing focus and identity.

SGC does not get any financial support from anyone apart from our contributions and we have to constantly priorites. Hopefully when we are able to raise all that is needed we will give the site the rightful facelift that it desperately needs.

In short, thanks for your time and we will consider your recommendations inshallah.

muraad ur wlc sweety i think we understand and i would like to suggest and its jus my opinion , since u guyz are the ones who pay all financial needs of the site why dunt u guyz make a membership fee and i think it would help. thats wat i would suggest .

a membership fee king kamal??? really bros? u dkn somali ppl are very cheap?loool and plus in order for you to demand a membership you gotta be a well establish website.And personally i dont think we are able to demand that.lol ppl will just stop comin and our number of members will just go down imo.

i think u should have a lil button on the top corner that says DONATION! lol
and maybe have a section that explains ppl why they have to donate.that would b awesome.
