Sao Paulo City Council Approves 'Heterosexual Pride Day'

With around 3 million participants, Sao Paulo's gay-pride parade is one of the biggest in the world. Maybe someone was feeling left out. The council of the Brazilian city has approved legislation to establish Heterosexual Pride Day on the third Sunday of December each year.

Potential jurors shouldn't be dismissed for being gay, court told

Trial lawyers should be barred from dismissing potential jurors because of their sexual orientation, defense attorneys argued Thursday in a case that, if successful, could extend constitutional protection from discrimination to homosexuality along with race, creed and gender.

Men arrested in North Cyprus for gay sex

Two men have reportedly been arrested in North Cyprus for having gay sex. According to Kibris newspaper, the men were accused of having “unnatural intercourse” in a hostel in Nicosia.
