About us you may wonder, We walk you’re streets, But you never paid attention. The essence of failure, No success we ever knew of. Our mind has been raped, Destroyed and bombed, Forever lost to the historians studies.
Surrounded by turmoil Ever advancing treachery Who do we call friends? And who are our true enemies? Nothing is clear, but the street in front. Pavement stretching into the horizon. Living a concrete world. So hard that it invaded our hearts. Forever deceiving anyone that dares enter, Hurting those that we’re meant to love. Showing kindness to those undeserving souls.
How should we live? When all we ever known is hostility. From the days we were in diapers, Till we produced our own. We duck and dive, That’s how we survived. Shattering bombs around us, Shattering bodies, like rain falls. How is a kind soul nurtured? In a world of ammo. Wouldn’t it shatter before it even crawls?
We don’t have a home. Confused souls living confused lives. Refusing to co-operate, only cos that’s what life taught us We’re living but not knowing what for? Let the blood flow, Cos that’s what we’re used to. We were born with cold hearts, unmoved by anything. No one can enter, for there’s nothing inside.
We’re boxing our own shadows. Pressured by missions without aims Walking with exhaustion, Permanently hunched by thoughts We hate you, We hate them, We hate ourselves.
